1. Data controller

2. What data do we process and why?

We process the required name and phone number and any optionally provided email address, work address, service, message, suggested dates and garden sketch to prepare a quote, contact you and arrange dates. We also record the submission time, message ID and privacy notice version. Please do not send unnecessary personal data or special categories of data.

The legal basis for data necessary for the quote request is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: steps taken at the data subject's request before entering into a contract. We process the contact details of a legal entity's representative on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining contact (Article 6(1)(f)). We cannot process a request without the required data indicated on the form. We send a copy of the request, including the garden sketch, to the email address provided. We do not send marketing messages.

3. Retention

We delete data from quote requests that do not lead to a contract within 90 days after discussions end. Where a contract is concluded, billing and claims-related data are retained for the applicable limitation period, generally 5 years, and accounting documents for the statutory 8 years. Complaints and responses are retained for the statutory 3 years.

4. Access and processors

Quote requests are accessed by the people organising and carrying out work for Finomtrade Kft. Messages are stored on the server and forwarded to the provider's internal mailbox. We use Google Gmail to receive email. Information about its processing of data and international transfers is available in Google's privacy policy .

5. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and, where the conditions are met, data portability through the contact form, Messenger or WhatsApp. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. We generally reply within one month. The right to erasure does not override mandatory retention requirements.

You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH): www.naih.hu; 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11. You may also seek a judicial remedy.

6. Social messaging

The Messenger and WhatsApp links lead to Meta services. When you use them, the respective service's data processing terms also apply. You can also contact us through the website's own form.

7. Technical operation

This website does not use marketing or analytics cookies, profiling or automated decision-making. The browser loads fonts from Google Fonts; this may transmit your IP address and technical request data to Google. External links operate under their own privacy terms.

To limit abuse, the server briefly holds the connecting IP address and request times in memory. These are not attached to the quote request. The purpose is service security, based on the associated legitimate interest. The operator records traffic log settings when finalising the hosting configuration.
